How It All Began

As early as I can remember I would notice the undeniable way a confident woman lit up the room she entered. She stood tall, her smile was wide, her laughter was contagious, and everyone seemed to want to lean in to listen when she spoke. Even as a child I would reflect on what made me notice her. It was her radiant skin, and a bold yet complementary lip color and you couldn’t tell just how, but she was beaming from within, she exuded authenticity. She was a goddess in her own right and that's who I wanted to be when I grew up. This female archetype was cemented in my earliest memories.

 I was the kid who loved to hang with the grown ups at our large family gatherings, my inspiration or aha moment came as I kept noticing the limiting beliefs the women in my life shared due to their appearance. “I can’t wear that with these legs”, “I would have done that in high school but my skin was “bad”,  “Don’t take any pictures of me, I hate the way I look today” were very common as they sat around the table.  Being witness to this dialogue where it felt like everyone prioritized their perceived shortcomings over their value always made me wonder what the conversions would be about if it wasn’t centered around negative self talk.

Because of the two different types of role models I had witnessed as a child. I connected beauty with the goddess energy, and beauty treatments, products, and selfcare as tools to unlock everyone's individual authentic radiance. A career in esthetics was calling to me. As soon as I  moved to New Jersey I started school to become an Esthetician. I loved offering facials, I loved the way a client would look so relaxed and rejuvenated after her service was complete. Quickly I realized that facials, skincare and spirit care were very closely intertwined and I began developing techniques fusing complementary treatments to benefit each client’s whole body wellness. 

I finally reached a point where I knew I wanted to offer elevated skin services that aligned with my client’s authentic wellness.   

My goal with Halo Skin Solutions is to create a place of peace for all who enter my space. I aim to rejuvenate and uplift the skin and energy through compassionate clinical skincare services rooted in whole body wellness practices. I love the way I get to serve all who enter my space, it is an honor to do what I love every single day and to share my peace with you.
